Take a day trip from Dahab to two popular snorkeling spots outside the city, the Canyon and the Blue Hole. Take a short Jeep ride to the Canyon, a sandy lagoon that is the result of a crack in a huge coral garden. Popular with scuba divers, the Canyon is actually an extensive underground cave system that only extended range divers can fully explore. Next, head to the Blue Hole, a 328-feet (100 meters) deep sinkhole teeming with marine life.

Tour Itinerary

You will be driven by Jeep for 15 minutes to the Canyon and spending two hours snorkeling. You will then be taken off-road for 15 minutes to the world famous Blue Hole where you will spend the rest of the day snorkeling or. The sheltered waters inside the blue hole are ideal for swimming and snorkelling, while the more adventurous can swim out to the reef wall to see the amazing marine life. You can also venture up into the mountains for a fantastic view of the area, or along the shore to see the ancient fossilized reef exposed here. Return to Dahab at your leisure.
